ABOUT MS. TORTORA​

• Proud graduate of Michigan State University (Go Green!)

• Bachelor's in Human Biology from MSU

• Provisional Teaching Certificate in Biology with Integrated Science Endorsement from MSU

• This is my second year teaching at MacDonald Middle School

• Yoga teacher (hot vinyasa) on the side -- one of my favorite hobbies!

• Traveled abroad to both Italy in Spain (especially Italy to explore my Italian roots!)

• Raised in Rochester, New York -- 10 years a Michigander! (Is it official yet?)

• I like to explore local eats and find a new "spot"

• Concerts ROCK! I love alternative music and any live band

• Reading is one of my favorite pass times, particularly fiction such as mysteries, dystopias, and fantasies

• I also enjoy playing both board games (try Pandemic if you haven't already!) and video games on my Nintendo Switch (Zelda: Breath of the Wild is my current favorite)
